Etihad Airways and Khalifa University have completed an internship programme designed to develop specialised aviation capability among emerging talent in the UAE.
Structured internships let employers assess technical aptitude in a live environment while students connect academic learning with operational standards, safety culture and multidisciplinary teamwork.
For sectors with long training lead times, partnerships with universities can create a more predictable workforce pipeline than waiting for experienced candidates to enter the market.
