Horizon GCC, a Dubai-based HR, recruitment and manpower consultancy serving UAE and GCC employers since 1997, has launched the Journal — a daily section covering the regulatory and market changes that affect hiring across the Gulf.
The Journal publishes four kinds of item: labour law and immigration developments in the UAE and wider GCC, HR and recruitment news, job market and salary data, and company announcements. Each entry is a short briefing written by the Horizon GCC team, with the original publisher credited and linked so readers can go to the primary source.
The aim is practical rather than editorial. Most regulatory changes in this region arrive as a ministerial resolution or a portal update rather than a headline, and the question employers actually ask is what it changes in their own payroll, contracts or mobilisation plan. Each briefing ends with that answer.
What it means for employers
- New briefings are added through the week across labour law, HR, market data and announcements.
- Every item credits and links its original source.
- For advice on how a change affects your own workforce, contact the Horizon GCC team in Dubai.
